06/08/2022 – So I got the phone call today, is it ok to bring the sheep? Excitement and butterflies, arrangements to lead the way to our land! Paperwork to write everything down! Finally, the trailer was across the first field, wormer and insecticide were administered, before the trailer doors opened and stepping out, cautiously, my four girlies were here! I had my paperwork, movement document copy, details put into my Holding register and drugs written into my medicine record book and was also handed the Pedigrees to be changed over to my ownership! A lot to take in! We walked across to the next field, with the girls following closely, to show them their new home! Holly and Shah had a good look and came over for fusses! They have seen sheep from the next farm, who visited through the fence, a couple of years ago, so although I was on edge, in case of negative behaviour, all was fine. The girls settled near to the horses, sticking close together, so after an hour or so and having fed the gang, I was happy that all was well and safe to leave.
