1.10.22 – Now that I have my worming equipment the question arises, when should I worm the sheep? After reading several conflicting articles, I found the answers once a year after shearing, one month before lambing, or if you see signs of worms in the poo, or if the sheep seem unwell and have diarrhoea, although that can be due to rich grass. I consulted my friend and apparently you can get a kit to send off with a poo sample, which tells you what you need to treat for, so if in doubt that sounds a good idea!
